ANTHROPOZINE, ISSUE NO. 1

A handcrafted collection (28 pages) of collaged art, journal entries, lyric pages, etc. created in companion with my debut EP "Anthropocene, Vol.1" <3

This zine was dreamt of and created in Tongavaar, or so-called Los Angeles. 100% of the funds from the sale of this zine will be redistributed to the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission led by Nüümü peoples. One third of LA's water is pumped from Payahuunadü, 'the land of flowing water,' what settlers renamed as Owens Valley. By the end of the 1920s, LA owned 95% of the private land and water rights in the valley, and still do. Prioritizing the rapid growth of a city, without consideration of whom, what was here -- remains true. Today, the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission is fighting for the right to return working with their ancestral waterways as meant to be.
